It started out like any other Monday morning...

My two sons came bounding into my room at the crack of dawn demanding breakfast. I was exhausted from staying up till 1am finishing my school assignments which I inevitably leave till the very last possible second. And, then trying to put a baby to bed who likes to learn about the intricacies of our education system with me while I work on my Masters. I rolled out of bed and made them their breakfast of choice, scrambled eggs, sausage, with a side of shredded cheese, and set them up at the table. My 4-month-old daughter is a late sleeper, I have no idea how we got so lucky but I am not complaining, so I sat down on the couch to try and get ahead on school work for the week (it was a valid effort). This required making a website for gifted children as a class project, but instead I ended up trying to make a website to sell cookies, and then I landed here. I’ve been told to make a blog for years now and have failed every time at actually following through. But, give me some actual homework and things I need to do and I will procrastinate the life out of it.

A disclaimer for all readers: I am incredibly sarcastic and have a dry sense of humor so, one day, if you are reading something on here that says something like “children for sale” and it gets you into a tizzy, they are not actually for sale. I love them dearly and would never sell them, let’s be real here, but I know there are enough people who might take something like that literally so there is your piece of mind knowing it is just in jest. I love these little buggers even if they sometimes make me crazy. Love to all and happy reading!
